A fan website for Matthew Sweet, the musician, at matthewsweet.rocks.
How I built it
I built it on exe.dev with the Shelley coding agent, the same way I rebuilt sonomait.com, and it’s hosted on Cloudflare.
Why I built it
I’m a big Matthew Sweet fan. He had a stroke a couple of years ago and can no longer play, and I noticed his website was down and there wasn’t a good fan site out there. So I built one for his fans.
The GoFundMe
The site links to the GoFundMe that helps pay for his recovery. The main goal was to get that in front of his fan community. The campaign has raised a lot of money, and while that’s not because of one website, it helps give it more visibility.
